Casual Games ("we," "us," or "our") operates the mobile game Anagram Chains (the "Game") on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By downloading or playing Anagram Chains, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

Anagram Chains is designed for a general audience of players ages 12 and up, with a focus on casual word puzzle enjoyment. We take the privacy of younger players seriously and comply with applicable children's privacy laws, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR and GDPR-K), India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).

If your child is under 13 (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country), please review this policy with them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the Game's core features (such as saving progress). If you believe your child has provided personal information without your consent, please contact us at the email below and we will promptly delete it.

We've built Anagram Chains to collect as little as possible. Here's what we do collect:

• Current level, highest level reached, total chains completed, total words solved
• Streak counts, daily challenge results, and in-game preferences (e.g., music/sound settings)
• This data is stored on your device and optionally synced to the cloud (see Section 2.3)

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how players use the Game. This includes:

• Device model, operating system version, and language/region
• App version and crash reports
• General gameplay events (e.g., level completed, session length)
• An anonymous, randomly generated installation ID (Firebase Instance ID)

This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We do not link it to your name, email, or any other personal identifier.

If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games Services (Android) or Apple Game Center (iOS), the following may be shared with those services:

• A gaming profile identifier (e.g., your Play Games or Game Center display name, which you choose)
• Your leaderboard scores (total chains, highest level, total words)
• Your saved game progress (stored in Google Cloud or iCloud under your gaming account)

This sign-in is optional. You can play the entire Game offline without signing in — you just won't have cross-device sync or leaderboard participation.

We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or physical address
• Your photos, contacts, microphone, or camera data
• Your precise location (GPS)
• Any payment information (the Game is free and contains no in-app purchases at this time)
• Any information for advertising purposes (the Game contains no ads)

We use the information we collect to:

• Save your game progress and sync it across your devices
• Display leaderboards and track achievements
• Fix bugs and improve Game performance (via crash reports)
• Understand which levels are too hard or too easy (via aggregated gameplay analytics)
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any behavioral tracking. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, ever.

Anagram Chains uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

We only share the minimum data required for these services to function.

Because the Game appeals to younger players:

• We do not show behavioral or targeted advertising to any users
• We do not collect personal information beyond what is needed to run the Game
• Google Play Games Services and Apple Game Center have their own age-gating and parental controls. If your child's account is managed by Google Family Link or Apple Family Sharing / Ask to Buy, those settings apply
• Parents can request deletion of any data associated with their child by contacting us (see Section 10)
• In the EU/UK, users under the digital consent age (13–16 depending on country) should only play with a parent or guardian's permission

• On-device data: retained until you uninstall the Game or clear its data
• Cloud save data: retained by Google Play Games / Apple Game Center under their terms; you can delete it through those services or by requesting deletion via our contact email
• Analytics data: retained by Firebase for up to 14 months in aggregated form
• Leaderboard entries: retained as long as you maintain a Play Games / Game Center profile

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Port your data to another service
• Object to or restrict processing
• Withdraw consent at any time

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Our legal basis for processing is: (a) your consent, (b) performance of the service you requested, and (c) our legitimate interest in improving the Game. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

You have the rights described above under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You may contact us to exercise these rights or raise grievances.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Firebase's built-in security rules for Firestore data
• No storage of passwords or payment data (we don't collect any)

No system is 100% secure, but we do our best.

Because we use Google and Apple services, your data may be processed in the United States, the European Union, or other countries where those providers operate. These providers maintain standard contractual clauses and other safeguards for international transfers.

Your continued use of the Game after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Users in other jurisdictions retain the protections of their local laws.
